Caburn Triptych #4 is mixed media and oil on wood panel, three panels built up in layers of chalk-toned washes and scratched texture, with bursts of ochre and red breaking across the surface like windblown blooms. The pale ridgelines echo the fold of the South Downs near Mount Caburn, walked and reworked until the surface carried its own weather.
